Website Student Associate (Business Season 2022-2023)

JOB TITLE: Website Student Associate  
DEPARTMENT: MSG Networks
  
ROLE SUMMARY:  
As Website Student Associate, you will have the opportunity to support day-to-day research efforts for social and content as well as to assist with YouTube and MSGN Highlights analytics. This role is for a highly enthusiastic and professional individual eager to work side-by-side with employees in a variety of activities including supporting the MSG Networks Summer Program and collaborating with MSG GO.  
 
  
RESPONSIBILITIES:  
  • Check Quality Assurance (QA) of Site Content and social platforms 
  • Send and report of findings from QA for MSGNetworks.com and social 
  • Update MSG Networks’ press page with new press releases 
  • Assist with video editing  
  • Assist with QA and building Sweepstakes in Wyng 
  • Pitch and partake in brainstorming sessions around original content ideas 
  • Create content for and program YouTube community tab 
  • Inputting YouTube metadata 
  • Attend creative assignments (shoots) 
  • Update game schedules  
  • Create graphics for game social posts 
 
 
MSG GO: 
  • Assist with MSG GO for game preparation 
  • QA our streams during game shadowing nights 
  • MSG GO EPG Management: Ensure programs flow. For each channel, each program has a tile that needs to be extended so that it does not cut off a rewind 
  • Program trivia engagement modules 
  
  
QUALIFICATIONS:  
  • Hard working and determined attitude 
  • Self-motivated  
  • Strong communication and organizational skills  
  • Solid time management and interpersonal skills  
  • Ability to multitask  
  • Knowledge of Premiere for video editing  
  • Knowledge of Photoshop 
  • Interest in Sports and MSG sport teams 
 
 
STUDENT ASSOCIATE REQUIRMENTS:  
  • Seniors or rising seniors pursuing an undergraduate degree or graduate candidates  
  • GPA of 3.2 or above  
  • Provide a letter from your school verifying enrollment   
  • Available to work a minimum 21-hour work week and a maximum 35-hour work week
