Network and Technical Operations Student Associate (Business Season 2022-2023)
JOB TITLE: Technical Operations Student Associate
ROLE SUMMARY:
As Technical Operations Student Associate, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the technical operation TV industry through participating in day-to-day operations at MSG Networks. This role is for an individual with a technical background and a strong idea of the position they want to work. Some positions include: TD, Audio, Graphics, Editor, Video, EVS, and Camera.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organize time sheets for payroll: Filing, Copies, off-cycle time sheet
- Organize call times and send out emails to freelance crew members for work
- Assist with Road Director reports
- Assist with visiting team billing
- Keep track of ENG request forms and tech manager reports
- Track staff vacation time
- Upkeep freelance contact phone list
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hard working and determined attitude
- Self-motivated
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Solid time management and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Excel
STUDENT ASSOCIATE REQUIRMENTS:
- Seniors or rising seniors pursuing an undergraduate degree or graduate candidates
- GPA of 3.2 or above
- Provide a letter from your school verifying enrollment
- Available to work a minimum 21-hour work week and a maximum 35-hour work week
