Software Intern
Position Overview
Idion® is a class II medical device company seeking a software engineer to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact remote patient monitoring. As part of our unique and highly skilled team, you will gather experience in medical device software development and release. You will support our software team (8) through the sprints backlog and best practices for SQA, efficient product test and release. We are a full stack company and you will work with our Chief Technology Officer.
Responsibilities
· Support product development with a team of world-class engineers and designers
· Contribute to the team through the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products
· Support the successful execution of software development
· Integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
· Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
· Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in medical device or digital health product design and development
· Experience working collaboratively with engineering, design and user research teams
· Experience presenting to teams
· Critical thinking/analytical leadership experience
· Computer Science or related field
