Principal Mechanical Engineer
Qualifications
- Design skills including 3D CAD solid modeling software and other analytical tools (Solidworks, Creo, FEA, Matlab)
- Hands-on experience with 3D CAD data management systems
- Experience with DFM methodologies and a passion for delivering highly manufacturable products
- one plus years of manufacturing engineering experience with proven expertise developing and/or implementing new technologies for manufacturing plants
- Experience with SolidWorks or Creo Parametric CAD solid modeling software
- Lead the design and development of complex mechanical/automation equipment from URS development to build, testing and deployment into pilot and commercial production
- Support efforts for equipment validations (FAT, IQ, SWV, OQ, PQ)
- Develop experiments and tests (including writing and executing protocols) to characterize, and optimize manufacturing processes; analyze results, make recommendations, and develop reports.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Scientific.
