Assistant Director of Admissions

Oregon Tech is seeking qualified applicants to fill the role of Assistant Director of Admissions at the Wilsonville campus.
The Assistant Director of Admissions is an experienced leader in university recruiting and all facets of the admissions process for both undergraduate and graduate students.
This position works with the Director to target geographic markets, develop effective recruiting strategies for all student types at all Oregon Tech campuses, and serves as the primary Admission Leader based in Wilsonville responsible for managing a campus-specific recruitment plan that meets the unique needs of commuter students at the Oregon Tech Portland-Metro campus.
The Assistant Director participates in the recruitment travel for all Oregon Tech campuses generally and plans recruitment for commuter students at the Portland-Metro campus specifically.
This position serves as primary liaison between the Office of Admissions and Portland-Metro faculty and student services staff. The Assistant Director will be responsible for Slate CRM support for Portland-Metro specific recruitment initiatives such as daily visits, event programming, student communications, and report generation. This position also provides general departmental Slate CRM support including creation of reports, queries, forms, and communications that drive recruitment, yield, and enrollment, and training new and junior staff members on Slate CRM best practices.
This position also represents the office and campus in the place of the Director of Admissions, as appropriate. The ideal candidate possesses strong interpersonal skills, is highly organized, is proactive in the development and support of the recruitment team and can competently leverage technology to develop data-informed recruitment strategies and tactics.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master’s degree
* 2-4 years higher education admissions experience
* Experience with Slate CRM
* Bilingual in Spanish & English
* Experience or membership in an Admissions professional association such as NACAC

Additional Requirements:
 
* Bachelor’s degree
* 1-3 years higher education or relevant experience
* Ability to effectively and respectfully work, communicate, and collaborate in diverse, multicultural, and inclusive settings.
* Supervisory experience
* Event planning experience
* Valid driver’s license
