Residence Supervisor
The HARID Conservatory is a privately funded, residential high school for gifted young dancers, located in Boca Raton, Florida. Students are recruited from across the United States and from other countries through a stringent audition process. All students live on campus in Russo Hall.
The successful candidate shall be employed on a full-time basis, starting immediately, through the end of May. His or her duties and responsibilities shall include:
Residing in Russo Hall on a full-time basis, with the exception of scheduled days off and holiday periods when the residence hall is officially closed.
Effectively carrying out the various administrative and operational tasks and procedures established to promote the safety and security of the students and the efficient operation of the residence hall.
Supervising and caring for the students in the residence hall and, as required, during cultural field trips and recreational outings.
Providing the students with local transportation (in HARID’s school bus and vans).
Participation in the planning and execution of residence-hall programs and activities.
Enforcing the policies, procedures, rules, and expectations established to govern student conduct.
Remuneration and benefits provided by HARID include:
An academic year (10 months) contract salary starting at $26,350 plus a $1,000 bonus, prorated in accordance with the employee’s start date;
Health and dental insurance coverage;
Accommodations consisting of an air-conditioned, single-occupancy residence hall room, including electricity, water, and basic TV-cable service;
The option of having breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as served by HARID's food service provider, on each day the students are in residence.
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree (or higher), experience in residence-life leadership, and an active and healthy lifestyle. (A criminal background check is required of all new employees.)
