Position Title: Work Study Senior Youth Development Professional (SYDP)
Hourly Wage: $10.15/hr.
General Description:
· Under the direction of the Unit Director and Program Director, the Summer Senior Youth Development Professional will plan and supervise fun, educational, structured and age-appropriate activities for children ages 5-18.

- Possess the ability to multitask
- Must be reliable and able to manage punctuality and professionalism in the workplace
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Plan and supervise activities for children ages 5-18 that are:
o Safe
o Fun
o Educational
o Structured
o Age appropriate
· Provide positive guidance and discipline for youth in assigned program areas.
· Perform daily cleaning duties of assigned Club areas.
· Accurately track participation of members in programs as well as program outcomes.
· Enthusiastically complete other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Gained in this Role:
Innovation- This position will teach students how to make decisions quickly through the use of problem-solving skills and collaborating with a team. With the ability to create and implement lesson plans.
Community Contributor- Students will gain knowledge about other cultures and a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds through interacting with a diverse group of at risked youth.
Students will gain the ability to collaborate more efficiently and effectively with others by participating on team projects within the workplace.
