Virtual Student Federal Service - Social Media Project Coordinator for Iraqi Kurdistan

Introduction

Intern would work with our social media team to create a social media campaign(s) on Instagram. We would like the campaign to result in 2-3 Instagram posts per week for the duration of the internship.

What you'll do

Social Media Content Creator for Instagram: Intern would work with our social media team to create a social media campaign(s) on Instagram. We would like the campaign to result in 2-3 Instagram posts per week for the duration of the internship.

Possible social media campaigns ideas:
a. American English: Create engaging content that helps teach American English to an overseas audience.
b. Promote America: Promote American business, tourism, national parks, and/or higher education. c. Dispatches from the Kurdish Diaspora: Intern would create a social media content about Kurdish-Americans that we can share on our social media. Our audience in Iraqi Kurdistan likes to see stories about Kurdish-Americans who have done well in the U.S. Intern would find, interview, and write at least one posting per week for the duration of the internship.

Kurdish language skills requested but not required. • Speaking Proficiency: Elementary proficiency requested but not required. • Reading Proficiency: Elementary proficiency requested but not required.
