Outreach and Education Intern | Hope and Healing Survivor Resource Center

At Hope & Healing, we offer a variety of presentations and can tailor a presentation to a group depending on age, topic, and length. Some examples are Healthy Relationships, Consent, Power and Control, Cycle of Violence, Agency History and Services, Responding to Disclosure, Social Media Safety, Active Bystander and Bullying.

A big part of our mission is to give preventative education in our communities so that we can help stop the occurrence of violence before it happens. Helping individuals to explore their boundaries and find their voices is an important part of what we do. For many participants, our presentation is the first time that they have been given the chance to be able to discuss such subjects. We always encourage critical thinking and questions.

Outreach and Education events can consist of tabling, community outreach, school programming, and providing presentations.
