Intern - Multimedia Assistant
Description
The Student Internship Program with the City of Round Rock is an administrative internship program designed to provide an on-the-job opportunity to gain real-world work experience in a career-related professional workforce environment. The Intern - Multimedia will grow field-specific skills in multimedia content creation and build a portfolio with marketing collateral.
Examples of Duties
Enhances digital platforms and grows marketing engagement.
Focuses on marketing campaigns and increases overall brand awareness.
Works with photography, videography, and graphic design.
The intern position will report to the Marketing and Events Coordinator and receive one-on-one mentorship to grow as a photographer, videographer, and graphic designer. Their work will be featured on our social media platforms and seen by thousands of followers. This is a great opportunity to gain multimedia experience and build a portfolio.
Experience and Training
Undergraduate Intern:
- Must be enrolled as a full-time or recent graduate of an accredited university or college;
- Must be classified (or most recently classified) as an undergraduate student;
- Must be able to provide an unofficial transcript and resume; and,
- Must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
OR
Graduate Intern:
- Must be enrolled full-time or a recent graduate of an accredited university or college;
- Must be classified (or most recently classified) as a graduate student;
- Must be able to provide an unofficial transcript and resume; and,
- Must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
Pay range is $15 - $17 per hour
