Join the project at an esteemed, world-class laboratory that studies genetic vascular and bone disease. Primary responsibilities include mouse husbandry and colony management. Day-to-day operations include genotyping and experimental procedures such as drug administration, ultrasound, blood pressure measurement, and health monitoring. You'll have the opportunity to assist with and independently conduct a variety of experimental protocols including dissection, tissue collection, immunohistochemistry, and Western Blotting. For a full-time position, we ask for a minimum commitment of 1.5-2 years. Perfect for graduating seniors or recently graduated students looking to strengthen curriculum for PhD, Med School, Vet School, etc. A strong understanding of biological systems (especially genetics and anatomy) is highly recommended. Previous wet lab experience is encouraged but not necessary.
