Senior Engineering Geologist
Santa Ana Regional Water Board is in charge of protection of water resources quality within the populated areas of Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties. Our offices are located in downtown Riverside across the street from the historical Mission Inn. We have an opening for a senior engineering geologist position, who would supervise, organize, direct, and coordinate the technical and policy work of the Agriculture and Cannabis section. Staff work in this section includes investigations, inspections, case handling, outreach, and compliance and enforcement activities. In addition to the agriculture and cannabis programs, dairy and non-point source programs are included in this section. The South Coast Regional Cannabis program serves Los Angeles, Santa Ana, and San Diego Regional Boards jurisdiction, which cover the entire southern California coastal areas from Ventura county in the north to San Diego county in the south. As such, the incumbent will provide regular updates to the executive management teams at these Regions.
