Associate Governmental Program Analyst

Apply today and join the Irrigated Lands team. The Central Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board has an opening for an Associate Governmental Program Analyst in the Irrigated Lands Program.

The position is located at 895 Aerovista Place, Suite 101, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. San Luis Obispo is a scenic city surrounded by mountains, the Pacific Coast, and superb wine country. This individual will work closely with the Irrigated Lands supervisor and program staff to support program activities and resolve complex problems related to enrollment, data transparency, monitoring and reporting, enforcement. fees, and customer service.

Duties:
Use sound logic, creativity, and a variety of analytical techniques to support core regulatory program activities and resolve complex problems related to the Irrigated Lands Program (ILP). Review, process, interpret enrollment applications and terminations, monitoring and reporting forms, and annual reports; evaluate whether the necessary information is contained per program requirements; and research program information. Coordinate with dischargers and third-party programs to obtain required information as well as to provide important information. Assist with informal and formal enforcement actions (including desktop compliance analyses and tracking), program update materials, and program website. Serve as the lead for ILP outgoing mailing efforts as well as ILP incoming and return mail processing, routing, and tracking. Work with staff to improve efficiency and productivity of enrollment and termination processes, enforcement actions, and data transparency.
