You will be working with the production team and will be an integral part of our daily news operation. Interns are encouraged to pitch ideas and bring all their energy to the editorial table. You will get the chance to produce longer-term series and be a part of special coverage. You should have a thirst for local, national, and regional politics and current affairs and your cultural radar should be finely tuned.

Qualifications
  • Good writing, good ideas, and some reporting + broadcast skills.
  • Ability to research, report, and tell many kinds of stories.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency and work well with all staff from producers and editors based at WNYC.
  • A thirst for local, national, and regional politics and current affairs and your cultural radar should be finely tuned.
