Entry Level Electrical Engineer
The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking Entry Level Electrical Engineers.
This posting is for entry level electrical engineering positions within the Engineering department at the Naval Reactors Facility in Idaho. The Naval Reactors Facility is one of many locations under the Naval Nuclear Laboratory. Groups within the engineering department house a variety of engineering expertise working together to develop and maintain equipment and procedures for managing and processing spent naval nuclear fuel. Be a part of a multidisciplined team at the Naval Reactors Facility managing spent naval nuclear fuel.
Engineers are responsible for:
Technical evaluations
Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Procedure development
Project management
REQUIRED SKILLS *
Associate:
BS degree in engineering or Bachelor's degree in a science related field from an accredited college or university required.
Intermediate:
BS degree in engineering or Bachelor's degree in a science related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two years of relevant experience; or MS degree in engineering or Master's degree in a science related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of one year of relevant experience; or currently or previously EOOW qualified in the Nuclear Operations Program; or SRE Qualification
PREFERRED SKILLS
- GPA 3.0 or higher preferred
- Degree in Electrical engineering
- Project management, leadership, and teaming
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
