Eagle River Water & Sanitation district is looking for a confident communicator with abroad administrative skillset and is looking to make a difference in our mountain community. We are looking for a Front Desk Administrator to join our Customer Service Team. The ideal candidate for this role is an enthusiastic professional, highly focused on accuracy and fine details, and values organization above everything.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is looking for a flexible part time schedule, to use their organizational skills to provide executive level support to the Customer Service Team including supporting the management team with communications, scheduling, meeting coordination, and other administrative tasks. This role will mainly greet and direct visitors, coordinate office activities and office operations including managing mail, purchasing offices supplies, memberships, and other administrative items to ensure a highly efficient environment.

The day to day:
  • Greet and direct visitors.
  • Perform basic customer service duties to support the customer service team including directing inquiries to the appropriate staff member, updating customer information and profiles.
  • Performs basic customer service Monitor and maintain office & plant supplies/goods inventory
  • Purchasing office supplies and equipment and maintaining proper stock levels
  • Responsible for purchasing for office supplies at all facilities; assist with ergonomics and related purchasing in coordination with the Safety Coordinator
  • Point person for office mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, bills, errands, and general office procedures
  • Responsible for clerical items, maintaining presence at front desk for customers, assisting Director of Business Administration with other office items.
  • Office coordination: Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including postage machine, UPS and FedEx shipping, etc. and notification to employees when packages arrive. Manage purchasing for office supplies at all facilities; assist with ergonomics and related purchasing in coordination with the Safety coordinator. Utilize and update the sustainable purchasing guide when making office purchases in coordination with the Sustainability Coordinator.
  • Supports and assists Customer Service Specialists
  • Required to follow all District safety and security policies and wear Personal Protective Equipment as required by the job duties.
  • Reviews and suggests changes to processes to improve customer experience, efficiency, compliance, and consistency. Participates in special projects that support process improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year to three years related experience in receivable accounts, databases, data entry and ten key functions and customer service experience, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • The ideal candidate for this role is skilled in troubleshooting, envisions ways to make us more efficient, more productive, and more sustainable through strong organizational skills.
  • Proven communication (both verbal and written) & customer service skills and the ability to work productively with minimal direct supervision. Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) is not required but desirable.
  • Enthusiastic and willing to help others. Committed to resolving issues and following up. Positive attitude to complete important but occasionally repetitive or semi-skilled tasks. The ideal candidate sees the big picture in how their work plays into the organization as whole.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills are essential to the role as well as an ability to manage a large variety of tasks and deadlines in a positive and productive manner. Experience or familiarity with functioning in an "active" or "busy" call center environment is preferred but not required.
  • Must be a people person with a proven ability to establish and maintain highly effective relationships. This role will need to develop and maintain strong relationships with board members, executives, managers, elected and appointed officials of other public agencies, business leaders, community organization representatives, and the public. Must have the ability to enthusiastically interact with employees, board members, and managers at all levels within the organization as well as maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and appropriately communicate sensitive information with tact and discretion. Knows when to ask for help and seek resources for support in resolving issues. Ability to work independently, multitask and follow up with questions, complaints, or suggestions.
  • Must possess a valid Colorado Driver's license within 30 days of employment and be insurable under District's standards.

HIRING RANGE
The range for this role isĀ $22.29 - $31.23 hourly. Hiring wage will depend on qualifications and experience, but typically falls within the minimum and midpoint of the pay range.
