Autonomous Systems Software Engineer, Reston, VA

RESILIENT MISSION AUTONOMY 
Our autonomous systems team is adding a talented software engineer with interests in autonomous systems, robotics, and/or machine learning. In this position, you will develop software and contribute ideas for technologies in autonomy, navigation, command and control, decision making, and simulation. Our team is dedicated to creating resilient mission autonomy by increasing the capability, reliability and longevity of autonomous vehicles. You will be part of a dynamic and motivated team that designs and implements solutions for some of the most capable and advanced autonomous systems on or off the planet. 
 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, robotics, mathematics, engineering, or other relevant field of study 
  • Object-oriented programming proficiency in Java, Python and/or C++ 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team  
  • US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED 


Desired Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of software programming experience gained from academic or personal projects, or internship experience  
  • Programming experience in C++ 11 or newer
