Y Analytics’ mission is to increase the amount and effectiveness of capital allocation for the greater good, as described in the UN SDGs, by increasing trust in the social and environmental impact achieved by that capital. Y Analytics was launched in parallel to The Rise Fund and founded in partnership with TPG/Rise to provide best-in-class insights and tools that improve capital allocation decisions. Its rigorous approach to impact assessment and management draws on evidentiary academic and economic research, enabling greater use of evidence in capital allocation decision-making and impact valuation. In addition to conducting impact valuation for the TPG Rise Funds, Y Analytics is also responsible for managing sustainability/ESG across TPG. The team supports TPG and its portfolio companies by assessing and advising on value creation through Environmental, Social, & Governance (ESG) performance.

TPG Rise Climate is the $7B climate investing initiative of TPG’s global impact investing platform TPG Rise. Y Analytics is seeking a Climate Digest Research Assistant (RA) to research and draft TPG Rise Climate’s biweekly climate newsletter. The Rise Climate Insight Digest relays recent technological advances, policies, corporate actions, and other developments in the climate space to the entirety of TPG as well as select investors. The RA will work closely with experienced team members and deepen their climate expertise while informing key players in the investment world. The position is for Master’s students or advanced undergraduates passionate about climate, ESG/impact investing, global development, and/or economics.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

• Master’s student or advanced undergraduate currently pursuing a degree

• Experience (academic or otherwise) and interest in environmental science, business, journalism,

economics, public policy, or another relevant field

• Demonstrated ability to concisely synthesize information in written form for a target audience

• Familiarity with key questions and themes of the climate crisis, including awareness and basic

understanding of important technologies

• Background in research and/or research communication a plus

• Superior attention to detail

• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
