Marketing Coordinator - Apparel

In our Marketing Coordinator – Apparel role, we are seeking a creative, ambitious, and well-rounded individual to support the development of our growing Apparel division. As a Marketing Coordinator – Apparel you’ll support the communication efforts and partner with a diverse, cross-functional team spanning from Creative Design, Sales, and Marketing to drive the development and execution of the long-term brand strategy of Vortex’s Apparel lines. The ideal candidate will leverage their creative and entrepreneurial nature with strong organizational and project management skills to help our customer focused organization develop the most advanced, highest quality and most exciting apparel and branded gear in the industry.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Support product launch strategies and schedules
  • Support product marketing strategies, including market development, market segmentation, targeting, positioning, and messaging
  • Manage apparel merchandising efforts with our sales team and retailers to increase line awareness and sell through
  • Work closely with social media and web teams to support strategies across platforms
  • Support market research efforts to affect key product and marketing plans including market trend and competitive intelligence reports  
  • Facilitate seasonal product sampling efforts for creative asset creation
  • Assist with seasonal line reviews with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and continuous line growth
  • Support the creation and execution of product roadmaps, assessing priorities and trade-offs between customer experience, time-to-market, and operational support load.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge across all products in the outdoor apparel market
  • Work with key stakeholders to support the vision of the Apparel product line
  • Work closely with internal partners to gather and organize product information including seasonal master assortment documentation
  • Other duties as assigned
