Deskside Support Technician (DST)

JOB OPENING FOR ON SITE IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN (Site Tech)
 
Position Summary
Our client in Brookline, MA is looking for a full-time On Site IT Support Technician (Site Tech). The Site Tech will work on-site, supporting end users via ticketing system or email, on the phone, or in person. In addition, there may be times to travel to the client’s satellite site, also in Brookline. 
He/she will integrate into the client business environment and use best practices to provide unparalleled customer service and technical support. The Site Tech will know when to work independently and know when to collaborate with the point of contact, other members of the team, and the end-users as well as other TNB employees. The Site Tech will follow protocols and procedures and make updates as needed. 

Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm at the client site. There is a 30-minute lunch break.

Qualifications and Experience
The appropriate candidate will have an Associate degree in computer technology field and/or 1-2 years of experience in a technology environment, with experience including (but not limited to):
·      Knowledge of EHR systems
·      Actively monitor ticket queue and determine priorities based on expected SLA’s and severity
·      Troubleshooting technology issues and providing desktop support related to technology issues, such as networking, hardware, printers, devices, various software programs, etc. 
·      Installing equipment such as printers and set ups for PC’s, docking stations, and other end user requirements
·      Installing software and upgrades for PC’s 
·      Installing various hardware and devices
·      Working with Windows 10 as well as Active Directory and Office 365

Physical Demands
The responsibilities of this position require employees to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use hands and fingers to handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this position include close vision, with the ability to read and understand text. This position may require the employee to occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing as much as twenty-five (25) pounds. These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to perform successfully the essential functions of the job. Reasonable accommodation can be made to enable people with disabilities to perform the described essential functions of the position.
