Life Scientist/Environmental Engineer/Physical Scientist (Brownfields Project Manager)- Region 3

These positions are in Region 3, Office of the Regional Administrator, Land, Chemicals and redevelopment Division, Brownfields and Revitalization Branch.

If selected, you must work at the location stated in this announcement. About Region 3: R3.

Duties

You will:
- Provide technical assistance, advice, training, and resources for communities to assess, clean up, and plan for the reuse of Brownfields;
- Manage grants, cooperative agreements, interagency agreements, and/or contracts to assess and clean up hazardous substances and/or petroleum at Brownfields sites;
- Conduct outreach and community involvement activities within the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and with other entities to promote the assessment, cleanup, and economic and/or sustainable revitalization of Brownfields sites;
- Advise on implementing program policies and priorities through the national grant competition process.
