Teacher - Head Boys Basketball Coach (HS)

POSITION TITLE: Teacher – Head Boys Basketball Coach for the 2022-2023 School Year
 
LOCATION(S):  Cass HS
START DATE:   July 27, 2022
 
JOB DESCRIPTION: Teacher: Establish a positive learning environment and respond to the individual needs of students in the classroom. Plan and implement effective lessons, using time, materials and resources effectively. Display a thorough knowledge of high school curriculum. Demonstrate awareness of the needs of students and provide for individual differences. Support the philosophy and mission of the Bartow County School System. Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance.

 
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION OR TRAINING: Must hold or be eligible for a Georgia teaching certificate in one or more of the following content areas: Science (6-12), Math (6-12), Special Education General Curriculum (P-12), or Business Education (6-12) or Graphic Design/Art (P-12).  
 
SKILLS: Ability and knowledge to effectively teach and coach at the high school level.
 
EXPERIENCE: Previous teaching experience preferred; previous coaching experience required.
