This is a regular full-time position (8 hours/day, Monday - Friday) with the responsibility of operating manual mills and other shop machines. Safe work habits, attention to detail, accuracy, good attendance and organization, the ability to work and think independently, along with the ability to work cooperatively with others in a positive, professional manner are expected. Benefits include paid holiday, vacation, sick leave, disability, life insurance, employer-sponsored group health, group dental insurances, 401(k) retirement plans and ESOP. Job Title: Machinist 
Job Level: Craft; Work Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) 

Essential Duties:
1. Ability to operate manual milling machines, lathes, drill presses, surface grinders and other shop machines.
2. Verify accuracy of machining against engineering drawings.
3. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
4. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting machine and/or program malfunctions; calling for repairs.

Skills and Experience Requirements:
1. Experience in operating manual mills, lathes and other shop machines.
2. Familiarity with tooling and fixtures and with reading engineering drawings and parts lists.
3. Experience using common hand tools and measuring tools and operating machine shop power equipment.
4. Average or better ability to read and write in English and to work from written instructions.
5. Ability to work with others in a positive and professional manner.     

Qualifications: 
1. Technical degree, journeyman certification or equivalent relevant work experience.
2. Basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.
3. Average or better ability to work from oral and written instructions.
4. Average or better ability to read and write in English.
5. High school diploma or equivalent.
