Digital Sales Intern

Job Description


Lead management is an important part of the sales cycle and funnel build for our sales teams.  
The ideal person in this role will have a strong desire to learn more about sales, specifically around qualifying leads and learning how to conduct basic discovery calls. This person will be routing leads in a que to the proper sales rep, provide additional qualification of a lead to then properly route, or research basic details of a potential lead to provide customer contact information for the sales team to action. This person will go through basic sales enablement to learn how to properly call into leads, learn the main tools of the job, and shadow discovery calls with the digital sales team. They will work closely with the marketing teams and sales teams to assist in any proactive marketing campaigns.

Duties:
  • Complete onboarding and sales enablement training
  • Complete training on main tools
  • Salesforce
  • Outreach
  • ZoomInfo
  • Shadow discovery calls
  • Work with marketing team to assist in any ongoing campaigns
  • Researching accurate contact information for leads in que via:
  • LinkedIn
  • Zoominfo/Sales Navigator
  • 6sense
  • Reaching out via:
  • Email
  • Outreach
  • Cold Calling
  • LinkedIn messages etc.
  • Action pending MQLs within the required SLAs by:
  • Contacting the leads before routing to proper sales team
  • Basic entry call
  • Engage with Digital Sales Leadership team to ensure proper routing
  • Learning about our products and SailPoint story through:
  • Identity University
  • Highspot
  • Product Demos
  • 7&7’s plus 30 for 30’s
  • 1:1 Coaching

Education and Experience:
  • Current student enrolled in a university, entering senior year in fall 2022
  • Majors aligned to business, sales or marketing preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with administration work
