Senior Front End or Full Stack Software Engineer - #1959 (US Remote only)
We need a Software Engineer to help Myriad Genetics, Inc. deliver innovative products that allow patients to make life-changing decisions. Our genetic screening and testing help to provide actionable insights to empower people to make critical and timely healthcare decisions by using molecular diagnostic tests for hereditary cancer, urological cancer, depression, and other diseases. We are excited about the future and remain committed to advancing the science of personalized medicine as we develop more products to address unmet medical needs.

This is a REMOTE - WORK FROM HOME (US only) position with flex-work as an option if you are near a Myriad location.

- Develop and deliver software to meet business objectives
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle in a highly-regulated environment
- Translate user requirements and business problems into clear, concise, testable software requirements.

ABOUT YOU
- BS in Computer Science, Informatics, a related degree or equivalent work experience
- Frontend or full-stack expertise: designing, building, and testing applications using a modern single page application framework (React or Vue preferred)
- Experience with Continuous Integration deployment pipelines (GIT, Maven, Jenkins, automated testing)
- Experience in software and systems architecture: domain driven design, service-oriented architectures, event-driven architectures, cloud, security - especially related to complex workflows involving many steps and multiple user
- Prefer backend experience: designing, building, and testing applications and services using Java, Kotlin, and SQL
- Prefer experience with API design, documentation and tooling, Swagger, RAML, Postman or similar tools.
- Prefer Oracle database and experience with persistence frameworks/object-relational mappings such as Hibernate.
- Excellent communication, analytics, and leadership skills
