What Your Job Will Be Like:

We are seeking a Year Round Business Undergraduate Intern to join our dynamic team!
On any given day, you may be called on to:

  • Perform assignments that support the Inclusion, Diversity, Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action organization (IDEA) and the Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) IDEA oversees.
  • Assist with website updates and electronic file management
  • Engage in projects to increase awareness of IDEA and ERGs
  • Research or collect information to develop presentation materials or various types of communications
  • Carry out various ad hoc activities to include data entry, presentations, research, and customer engagements
  • Assist with workshop facilitation

This position is eligable for remote work.

Qualifications We Require:

You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements:

  • Currently attending and enrolled full time in a related accredited undergraduate program
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • Ability to work up to 25 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer
  • U.S. citizenship

Qualifications We Desire:
  • Strong MS Office Suite to include Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Access
  • Working knowledge of WordPress
  • Ability learn quickly and work independently as needed
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
  • Growth mindset

Security Clearance:

Sandia is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications.
