Merchologist: Inbound Sales Representative
The Merchologist role is the first point of contact when a customer calls in to inquire about wanting decorated product. The Merchologist talks customers through the company offerings, listening to their needs and making suggestions to satisfy those needs. The Merchologist should enjoy speaking with customers, be knowledgeable on products and thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Job Description
- Communicate with customers via phone, email and livechat.
- Guide and assist domestic and international customer with the purchase of their products and logo decoration services
- Responsible for recommending product, decoration methods, top sellers, and answering product related questions to help customers.
- Document with detail and accuracy the customer notes in Merchology’s CRM; Hubspot
- Assist customers with the creation of their orders
- Assist customers with pre-sale materials to help them purchase including but not limited to price quotes, samples, product mock-ups
- Responds to customers in a timely fashion from first point of contact to end of transaction
- Responsible for calling on warm leads, customer follow-ups and other potential customer leads
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Associate degree with experience, equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree
- Strong Computer Skills in with proficiency in a Window’s PC environment.
- Strong communication skills, able to work well with both customers and co-workers
- Detail Orientated, able to work on multiple tasks and rapidly changing priorities throughout the day
- Knowledge of Microsoft office especially Word & Excel
- Sit for 8+hours per day
- Able to lift up to 10 lbs.
Preferred
- Type 40+wpm
- Knowledge of Netsuite, Hubspot, and Google Docs
