As a Business Development Analyst (BDA) you are a key member of the federal business development team. This position supports capture management, pricing, research and proposal production team members in the development and delivery of proposal responses. Key activities include researching, gathering data, completing competitor / competitive analysis, partnering with subject matter experts to gather and review data, organizing and producing US Government services proposals.

The Analyst is responsible for accessing multiple business databases, web sites and archived information in support of the proposal process as well as the incorporation of graphics and other elements in proposals, reports and other client / company facing documents. Experience with GovWin and Sam.gov is required. Candidates with a minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience producing sophisticated reports, web research and data gathering are preferred!

Duties and Responsibilities Include:
  1. Research various sources to provide critical data necessary to understand upcoming procurements, including Sam.gov, GovWin, and other Federal Department / Agency or private databases. 
  2. Conduct web and database searches to produce competitor and competitive analyses. Will produce wage analysis via a variety of sources including job board comparisons and via the Economic Research Institute 
  3. Creates and maintains statistical information, including spreadsheets and graphs - materials typically included in reports. 
  4. Produce sophisticated outputs (e.g., templates, comparisons, etc), within excel using intermediate to advanced formulas (e.g. Boolean string, pivot tables and similar). 
  5. Use various software applications to support team for transitions, graphics, data tracking, and proposal management. Responsible for work in SharePoint to include organizing and maintaining content library for the department. 
  6. Will receive and review US Government RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, etc.; will engage with teams to communicate deadlines and input these into database / pipeline tracker. May be responsible for document version control and standards used in submission documents. 
  7. Assist Executive and other Company leadership on Special projects and assignments as business needs arise. 
  8. May provide some marketing and conference support. May engage in direct mail campaigns and other occasional outreach
