Human Resources Advice Representative

What is the opportunity?
Enable our employees and people managers to execute Workday related tasks by providing timely, navigational support for information on HR policies, procedures and completion of tasks. Build trust and rapport with HR teams and Business colleagues by engaging or escalating any queries you receive that require additional expertise to be resolved.

What will you do?

  • Investigates information to understand circumstances, problems and provide guidance on HR questions for our HR Platform Workday.
  • Prioritize and manage incoming requests and multiple tasks to meet designated service levels while ensuring that assigned job responsibilities are met. 
  • Promote the self-service model and increase adoption of HR programs with employees by provide navigational support and educating people on where information can be found.
  • Build trust and rapport with HR teams and Business colleagues by engaging or escalating any queries you receive that require additional expertise to be resolved.
  • Assist your HR Advice colleagues from other regions by provide Workday support by email to other territories where RBC has presence, for example, Canada, APAC, the Caribbean and the United Kingdom.
  • Proactively act as a critical link to continuous improvement and development of new process or programs with our Global HR team, Business Partners and Talent Strategy teams by provide your input and regional insight

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word Skills
  • Mindset of continuous learning, teaching others and ongoing process improvements
  • Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong customer service orientation with attention to detail and accuracy

Nice-to-have

  • HR Experience
  • Workday Experience
  • ServiceNow or other case management software/ tools Experience
  • SHRM -CP, or SHRM -SCP
