Corporate IT Support Systems Intern Fall 2022 Semester
POSITION PURPOSE
Provide IT job experience to the Co-op and complete assignments within the SSAB Enterprise Plant Support Systems Team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Complete Design documents for business approval processes to be automated utilizing the Decisions workflow platform.
· Complete the development and testing of workflow modifications as described in the design documents
· Maintain existing workflow processes.
· Utilize Teams for meetings
· Use SQL management studio and the Maintenance Connection CMMS for system testing.
EDUCATIONAL/TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
· Understanding of Object Oriented Programming Theory
· Ability to learn a new system with the assistance of senior team members and online documentation
KEY EXPECTED RESULTS:
· Learn to use the Decisions workflow system
· Completion of at least 2 workflow changes
· Participation in Plant Support Systems Team meetings
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES / DIRECT REPORTS
Position has no supervisory responsibilities
WORKENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The employee will be required to sit, stand, and/or walk as follows:
· Sitting 4 hours during 8 hour work day
· Walking 4 hours during 8 hour work day
· Able to alternate sitting and standing as needed
The position requires the following talking, vision and hearing capabilities:
· Talking person to person, on the phone, and in a group setting
· Hearing in person, on the phone, and in a group setting
· Vision at near, mid-range, and far
· Peripheral vision and depth perception
The position requires the following pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying capabilities:
· Push, pull, lift, and/or carry items weighing 25 pounds or less
The employee will occasionally be required to:
· Balance, crouch, and climb
· Twist at waist level and reach below waist level
· Reach at waist/desk level, and below waist level
· Handle, grip, hold, and grasp with both hands together or separately
The employee will frequently be required to:
· Finger and feel with both hands together or separately; sense temperature and textures with both hands together or separately
· The employee will work in the following conditions: (While wearing safety equipment and/or clothing for protection from hazards
· Indoors
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK/TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
· Position is full time, non-exempt, and is eligible for overtime
· Position works (8) hours a day, Monday-Friday (days only)
