Civil Engineer / EIT

Seeking a Civil Engineer at our Glen Rock, NJ or Southbridge, MA office. Bertin Engineering is an established multi-disciplinary consulting firm with a successful track record for providing highly professional service and quality designs.
Responsibilities for Civil Engineer / EIT
· Design and draft conceptual and final site engineering drawings under the supervision of a Senior Engineer
· Prepare zoning and engineering calculations
· Prepare plans and specifications for bidding and construction
· Participate in project coordination with the surveying, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural disciplines
· Prepare engineering studies and reports
· Conduct field visits as necessary
Qualifications for Landscape Architect
· A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited university
· EIT Certification preferred or the ability to obtain the EIT within 18 months of employment
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical and judgement capabilities
· Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment
· Prior internship and/or co-op experience with a design firm a plus
· MS office suite and AutoCAD skills.
