Intern - Software Engineering

Penske is seeking an Intern to join our team. This person will be a full time college student and will assist with the MIS (software development team) Department. This opportunity will be for approximately 12 weeks (May – August).

Successful candidates will enjoy working with knowledgeable professionals in a great work environment. In addition to responsibility for various assignments and projects within the Department , all Interns will participate in Penske's Cooperative Internship Program. This is an extremely hand's-on, robust program where all Interns will participate in events throughout the summer program that revolve around the three main pillars of the program:

Community Service, Social Networking, and Professional Development.

Qualifications:
-GPA of 3.0 or higher is required
-Student should be entering Junior or Senior year
-Completion of some core curriculum classes is preferred.
-Needs to have very good organization and communication skills
-Should have advanced competency in both Excel and PowerPoint –
-Willingness and drive to work independently, meet deadlines, and demonstrate leadership
-Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
-Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske
employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal
history) and drug screening are required.
