Political Campaign Interns (Summer 2022)

*College Course Credit Available* (BASED ON SCHOOL'S REQUIREMENT)
 
From researching daily political news to contributing to policy proposals, political campaign interns will obtain hands-on experience in political research and writing, while making real contributions to the campaign’s messaging and policy platform.
 
Throughout their internship, political research interns will support the campaign by performing the following responsibilities:
 
-      Reading and consolidating daily news events, and briefing the campaign and candidate on political news developments 
-      Researching and drafting memoranda on political issues and policies
-      Compiling research and data on local political clubs, organizations, and voters
-      Researching data to incorporate into political media posts, press releases, and speeches
 
Ideal candidates should have the following qualifications:
 
-      Passion for politics, research, and writing
-      Strong research and writing skills
-      Attention to detail, excellent organizing, and time-management skills
-      High levels of professionalism and strong written and oral communication skills
 
Political research interns can work in-person in New York City or fully remote. Interns are expected to work 3-5 days per work. Days and hours are flexible.
