Nine13sports is looking for an energetic and self-motivated individual to join our team! We will be offering a position in three separate areas that will allow prospective students to apply for a position that best fits their major and field of interest, with the understanding they will be spending their time with us learning and being involved in all aspects of our organization.
About Nine13sports:
Nine13sports® is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that promotes health, wellness, and exercise for local youth with our Kids Riding Bikes®, Kids Building Bikes®, Kids Riding Bikes-STEM, and Explore Indy programs.
We have created a unique initiative in which we have integrated the traditional bicycle with technology to provide a turnkey product for youth programs, schools, and other community organizations. In addition to a core focus of health and fitness, our programs promote community, teamwork, and mutual respect for one another designed to foster a lasting impact.
Internship Details:
The summer internship program will begin on Monday, August 15th, 2022 and will conclude on Friday, December 16th, 2022.
- Office location is on the near west side of Indianapolis.
- Internship hours will be 12-14 hours a week, 2 days a week. 1 day will be on a programming site and the other day will be in the office.
- There will be a few evening and weekend events that you will be notified of beforehand.
- Stipend to be paid at the completion of the internship.
Qualifications:
Who You Are:
- Interested in pursuing a career in business, sales, business economics & nonprofit management.
- Available to commit to a semester-long internship, upon start date.
- Strong writing and communications skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple projects.
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and with accuracy.
- Currently enrolled in 4-year university pursuing a degree in one of the related fields: Business Administration, Sales, Economics, or other related field.
