Business Education Teacher at North High School



1.    Must be Wisconsin DPI certified in Business Education (1250), early adolescence to adolescence.
2.    Must understand the content of Wisconsin’s Model Academic Standards for Business.
3.    Must be able to deliver effective instructional services to students that meet or exceed proficiency criteria of the district’s standards and benchmarks.
4.    Must be able to develop and instruct entrepreneurial, accounting, marketing, personal finance, and career development lessons with appropriate assessments.

·      Ability to instruct CAPP classes or develop a plan working toward CAPP qualifications.
·      Microsoft Office proficiency preferred.
·      Ability to manage a school based enterprise/school store.
·      Willingness to teach web development or web design based courses.

Sheboygan North High School is seeking a student-centered and reflective teacher who is committed to providing students with a rigorous and high-quality learning experience. A desire to meet the needs of all students is paramount. Candidates must be willing and able to work well as part of the department and building teams. Knowledge of effective literacy strategies and the application of said strategies are also desired. In addition, candidates must be able to demonstrate appropriate use of a wide variety of instructional strategies and have a working knowledge of the state standards.

Willingness to coach or advise. A variety of coaching and advising positions are typically open each year. Specifically, we are looking for coaches in DECA, FBLA, football, golf, tennis, and wrestling.
