Assistant Graphic Designer

Position Summary

The Assistant Graphic Designer will assist the Lead Graphic Designer / Digital Marketing Specialist in carrying out tasks to achieve the given projects objectives. This role can be hybrid.
 
Essential Functions:
 
The AGD’s duties will include but will not be limited to:
  • Supporting client-facing social media campaigns and tasks on an as-needed basis.
  • Providing digital and print graphic design assistance utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and other design platforms 
  • Providing video editing assistance utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.) and other video editing platforms
  • Support industry-standard web platforms (WordPress, GoDaddy, etc.) and new platforms as needed.
  • Support email marketing platforms (MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.) and other email platforms
  • Performing basic website updates and analysis
  • Ability to work with multiple clients and keep information confidential as requested.
 
Additional Responsibilities:
 
The AGD will also be responsible for:
  • Writing/editing
  • Proposal management and server organization
  • Attending client meetings as warranted.
  • Assisting Public Information Officers with any graphic duties related to their projects.
  • Attending company staff meetings.
  • Maintaining electronic project folders.
 
Education, Experience and Skills:
 
  • Four-year college degree, senior or recent graduate
  • Entry level experience in graphic design, communication, marketing, or related field.
