Marketing Intern (Fall 2022)
The Marketing Intern will support Spot’s marketing objectives through the use of various strategic initiatives that are tailored to our three target audiences: shippers, carriers, and employees. This position is pivotal to the continued success of Spot’s Marketing Department by executing and overseeing the day-to-day management across digital platforms and marketing campaigns, as well as other related tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in content creation and publishing for Spot’s social media platforms.
- Assists in content creation for internal and external newsletters.
- Manages and tracks direct mail campaigns, working closely with various sales teams and management.
- Responsible for inventory of all promotional materials.
- Assists with the development of presentations for customer meetings.
- Works closely with graphic designer to help develop a variety of marketing collateral as needed (case studies, logo sheets, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Junior or Senior status. Must be working toward a Bachelor's degree; Marketing concentration is preferred.
- Proficient computer skills with PC or Mac-based desktop applications, such as Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
