International Writing Program Research Assistantship

The International Writing Program (IWP) is a unique writing program that brings the writers of the world together. The RA will be involved in the programming aspects of IWP programs including but not limited to editing, outreach, logistics, and course assistance. Ideal candidates will possess strong organizational, written and communication skills, and have a demonstrated interest in cross-cultural exchange. Candidates must have a flexible schedule, follow strict deadlines, take direction and work independently. Knowledge of a foreign language and graphic/web design is highly desirable, but not required.

The assistantship involves 20 hours a week (on average). The RA will receive a scholarship for tuition and 25% of fees, a stipend paid out over the academic year, and health insurance.

Criteria for selection will be based on merit and need. Priority will be given to students from Literature and Language based programs. .
