Title: Assistant Digital Technical Designer
Reports to: Senior Digital Technical Designer
Position Summary: Weissman / Dancewear Solutions is a national Recital Costume/Dancewear catalog/web retailer and manufacturer that is experiencing rapid growth. The Digital Product Creation Team is responsible for developing accurate prototypes using our 3D software, as well as maintaining digital fabric, trim, and avatar libraries. The Assistant Digital Technical Designer will be responsible for helping the team move prototypes through the development process and with the
organization of 3D assets.
Responsibilities: Stitching basic garments together using CLO3D Preparing render images for use in Prototype Reviews with Merchandising and Design. Sending costing tech packs to the Internal Costing Team Assisting in the collection of newly added fabrics and trims that must be
translated into digital assets
Expected Outcomes:
Financial: Provides additional bandwidth to the Digital Product CreationTeam by taking on some of the easier day-to-day tasks.
Timelines: Must meet all deadlines on the Integrated Product Development
Calendar.
Accuracy: Must be able to complete projects independently, as assigned.
Qualifications:
Degree in fine arts
Garment and/or pattern knowledge preferred
Experience in CLO3D is preferred
An eye for detail and good visualization skills
Ability to take feedback and make changes as required
Demonstrates time management skills and a commitment to team success
Excellent verbal and written communication
Excellent interpersonal skills
