National FFA Convention Collegiate Assistant

The National FFA Organization and Maribeth Smith & Associates (MBSA) are seeking college students or recent graduates to serve as convention collegiate assistants (CCAs) during the National FFA Convention & Expo. This short-term internship will offer up to 100 hours of experience with behind the scenes event preparation and execution.

Up to 20 CCAs are needed to assist across 5 program areas. CCAs tasks will vary by position, but may include:
  • pre-convention prep work including packing, inventory, and packet stuffing
  • exhibitor move-in and registration
  • move-in and set up assistance
  • checking of room sets, AV, and catering orders
  • volunteer check-in
  • load in for sessions and entertainment events
  • management of on-site offices and supplies
  • providing assistance to FFA staff as needed
