Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Fee Analyst

CLPPB is recruiting an Associate Governmental Program Analyst position based out of Richmond, CA. This position would be of particular interest to those interested in environmental health, administrative, or legal issues. This position is telework eligible.
  
This position will lead the administration of the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention (CLPP) Fee, a unique annual fee assessed upon entities responsible for historic and/or current contributions to environmental lead contamination. As the CLPP Fee Analyst, this position will manage fund-related activities including complex case management, application of statutory and regulations interpretations, coordination with legal counsel, adjusting fee assessments, budgetary operations, and Public Record Act requests. The CLPP Fee Analyst will be responsible for analyzing problems, conducting research, and recommending solutions on Fee-related policy issues. This position supports CDPH’s mission and strategic plan by contributing to state-wide primary prevention of childhood poisoning lead and advancing health equity in California.
