Canning Line Assistant

Purpose: The purpose of this position is to assist the Canning Line staff in running, operating, cleaning & maintaining the canning line/packaging hall.

·        Assist in all operations pertaining to the canning packaging deck

·        Perform can packaging, casing & cleaning operations

·        Assist in daily start up/shut down of the canning line machinery

·        Report any equipment issues to Canning Line Manager

·        Assist in routine cleaning on the canning line

·        Clean packing deck daily

·        Other duties as assigned

·        Able to learn new tasks quickly

·        Maintain positive attitude while performing repetitive, labor intensive tasks

·        Strong attention to detail

·        Strong multitasking skills, while maximizing efficiency

·        Able to work in individual and team setting

·        Able to lift heavy materials (up to 60 lbs.)

·        Willing to work evening/night shifts outside of normal business hours

·        Willing to obtain valid fork lift license

·        Valid ATC server’s permit

High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience

Previous brewery experience/knowledge a plus
