Minimum Education: Master's

DELIVERABLES
* Perform molecular and biochemical analysis of gene expression using liver and kidney obtained from G6pt-/-, L-G6pt-/-, G6pc-/- L-G6pc-/- mice. - Ad-Hoc
* Collect, analyze, and interpret data; update and maintain laboratory notebooks and databases.
* Prepare reports and summaries based on results and findings.
* Attend laboratory meetings, present results and findings to staff.
STATEMENT OF WORK DETAILS
* Work with staff to identify the most efficacious rAAV vector that corrects GSD-Ia
* Work with staff to evaluate the efficacy of CRISPR/Cas9-based gene editing system to directly correct the p.R83C mutation in the gene G6PC-R83C mice.
* Work with staff to maintain the strains of the G6PC-R83C mice.
* Work with staff to perform molecular and biochemical analysis of gene expression in the treated mice, including enzymatic assays, transporter assays, Western blot analysis and real-time PCR analysis.
* Collect, analyze and interpret data; prepare summaries and reports
