Talent Attraction & Engagement Intern

Role Profile
The Talent Attraction & Engagement internship will be project based and focused on enhancing our internal and external communications.  The internship includes assessing our current state and making recommendations for consistent branding and execution of internal communications and external web-based and social channel communications (LinkedIn & Facebook).   The intern will report to the Employee Engagement Manager and Head of Talent Acquisition who are both part of the Human Resources Talent Management team.

This role will provide the opportunity to gain on-the-job experience at a leading Consumer Products Goods (CPG) company and learn what it is like to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment. The internship will be 20 hours per week. The location is remote based. The intern will work during eastern time zone hours.

Responsibilities Overview:

  • Collaborate with the Employee Engagement Manager and Head of Talent Acquisition to support internal and external communications strategy and HR project launch plans
  • Identify design elements to appear in internal and external communication materials
  • Curate video/photo content, company accomplishments, activities, etc. to build a repository of content and leverage it to boost our recruiting efforts and increase employee awareness of company strategy
  • Identify content to grow the number of followers and reviews we have on our social channels
  • Create and distribute online newsletters and company messaging
  • Coordinate recruiting marketing, programmatic advertising and video initiatives with our external vendors
  • Collect metrics on internal communications vehicles and conduct analysis on readership and participation trends
  • Analyze and provide insights for our career site and social channels to track performance using Google Analytics
  • Work on special projects

  • Must be creative and have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and detail orientation
  • Ability to learn and adapt in a dynamic and ambiguous environment
  • Strong technical skills including Office 365 including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience creating social posts using Canva or a similar platform
  • Experience managing and/or coordinating social media channels preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Sophomore or Junior in college
  • Obtaining a bachelor’s degree in preferred majors such as Business, Human Resources, Marketing or Communications
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future work authorization or visa sponsorship
