Curatorial Research Intern

Minnetrista Museum and Garden's Curation and Exhibition Department is currently developing an original in-house exhibition focused on the history of American good preservation (canning), set to premier at Minnetrista in late 2023. The intern in this position will do historical research utilizing primary and secondary sources that will inform the development of this exhibition. The research will be conducted using resources both in the Minnetrista Heritage Collection and in other repositories.


Qualifications:

To perform this internship successfully an individual must have excellent research and writing skills. Pursuing a degree in history, arts, or humanities is a plus. Must possess excellent organizational and analytical thinking skills. An important requirement of the position is the ability to work without constant supervision.
