Summary:
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting our Sales team across OUTFRONT Media's Boston market to help drive revenue by delivering & executing sales proposals and working with advertising agencies. The Sales Coordinator plays an instrumental role in understanding the culture, geography and demographics of their market to deliver creative campaigns and solutions to the Sales team. This person must possess strong communication and organizational skills as well as a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll do:
- Partner directly with the Sales team on all facets of client relations including proposal completion, media plans, customer service, and revenue objectives.
- Select OUTFRONT Media assets to amplify clients’ campaigns, products and brand stories.
- Provide outstanding customer service through product knowledge, industry news and market expertise.
- Establish strong working relationships with Sales team and external clients.
- Develop and foster relationships to drive new business, renewals, and up-sell to clients.
- Resolve client inquires by involving appropriate resources.
- Manage and complete Request for Proposal’s in a timely manner.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations to supplement media plans and proposals.
- Prepare periodic market and sales reports.
- Manage the internal Proof of Performance process and liaise with the Operations team to manage quality control of the photos.
- Facilitate daily communication between internal and external parties as needed.
- Continually strive for improvement on the sales and operations processes.
- Establish a good working relationship with clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients as well as internal teams (Finance, Charting, and Operations) and contribute to the achievement of quality results.
- Think creatively while juggling several projects at once.
- Attend weekly sales meetings.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
- Strong analytic capabilities and interest in advertising, marketing and sales.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Self-motivated with ideally 1-2 years of related work experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Course of study in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or similar a plus.
- Knowledge of OOH advertising or previous experience in the advertising industry a plus.
