#1158 - Marketing Coordinator

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Coordinator will be a guide and resource for employees on brand identity and is responsible for fostering communication internally and assuring that employees have access to up-to-date marketing material and information. This role works with employees across the company to build a marketing presence through consistent messaging, maintenance of marketing material, photographing projects and events, and ensuring teams adhere to our brand identity and guidelines. This position supports all aspects of marketing throughout the organization and will be a liaison between multiple levels of the organization, including working closely with the Marketing Committee to prioritize initiatives.
The following essential job functions are performed as a Marketing Coordinator:
  • Maintains and disseminates up-to-date marketing material to various levels of the organization.
  • Partners with departments to update, develop, produce, and distribute marketing materials including brochures, PPTs, and advertisements.
  • Supports content updates to website and maintains social media sites.
  • Ensures general company information is consistent on website and any sales PPTs.
  • Helps plan, coordinate and implement various marketing and employee events, such as tradeshows or the internal Christmas Party.
  • Coordinates, edits, and publishes quarterly employee newsletter.
  • Maintains promotional materials inventory for items such as new hire logo-wear, tradeshow events, special customer gifts, and recruiting.
  • Acts as focal for company photo usage by regularly taking pictures of projects, products, and processes; hires photographers as needed for marketing purposes; reviews, catalogues, edits and seeks usage permissions for photos; catalogues regarding type of application and level of usage permission.
  • Coordinates facility art/displays and signage.
  • Must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines.
  • Must be at work on time and maintain good attendance. This is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • Ability to drive to solutions working with a diverse group of employees.
  • Understanding of the principles of marketing and public relations.
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications, including design software, and video editing software.
  • Experience with content creation is preferred.
  • Experience with editing and copyediting is preferred.
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills; able to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Must have superior verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
  • High degree of personal initiative, with independent decision-making capability.
  • Flexible, stress tolerant, team player.
  • Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT USED
Regular office equipment, large format printer, photographic equipment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Primarily office conditions, but regular visits to Janicki’s manufacturing operations that include dust, loud noises, chemical fumes, fiberglass, and carbon fiber.
