JOB OPPORTUNITY

                                                                                                                                                           TEMPORARY PART TIME - EVENT LEADER - COMMUNITY EVENTS
 
DESCRIPTION:
Assists with the implementation of events, programs, concerts, outdoor movies and use of facilities/park sites under the general direction of a full-time staff member. Assists in the supervision of program/event operations while interpreting and enforcing rules and policies for the Department. Fosters good public relations. Performs other duties as assigned.
 
EDUCATION:
High School education or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Some college preferred.
 
EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS:
Incumbent should possess some working knowledge of event implementation. Must have previous experience working with the public and have the ability to communicate effectively. Ability to work independently and make quick decisions.
 
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
CPR and First Aid or ability to obtain. Valid driver’s license required.
 
HOURS:
Part-time hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work flexible hours.
Approximately 10 hours a week.
 
SALARY:
$14.11 per hour
