Wage & Compensation
This is an hourly position. New team members start at $12.00/hr. Staff members of Pizza X receive 50% off food at any Pizza X location and additional discounts at our other brands (Lennie's, Hive, and One World Catering).
** Earn a $150.00 bonus after your first 8 weeks on-the-job.

Job Description
Inside Team Members are versatile employees that are proficient at performing a variety of different tasks. Interacting with our customers and greeting them with a positive attitude and tone is of utmost importance. This includes taking orders and payments at the front register for walk-in customers and answering phones to take orders for pick up and/or delivery. Team members also work closely together to assemble orders quickly, prepare and bake, then box pizzas among other items on our menu. Peak service hours generally occur after midnight or 1:00am until close. Peak hours are a fun and challenging time for our team to learn and grow together while providing the best pizza and service in Bloomington. We have excellent core teams at our Pizza X stores with some members who have been around for a decade or longer. Our team members are friendly and always excited to welcome new individuals to the team to build a strong rapport with. Training for all aspects of the job will be provided.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Answering phones or running the front register to take orders and payments.
- Prepare a variety of foods on our Pizza X menu (pizzas, breadstix, cheesestix, etc)
- Following instructions to prepare all food to order.
- Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage.
- Weigh or measure ingredients accurately.
- Operate industrial machinery for food preparation.
- Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
- Skills in preparing a variety of foods is preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and quality standards is preferred, but not required.
- Good listening skills and the ability to learn quickly on-the-job.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work both individually and as a team member.
- Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
- Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ability to stay on your feet for the duration of your shift.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
