One World Catering: Event Staff
Position Details
We are actively hiring individuals seeking employment opportunities to join a fun and fast-paced team at One World Catering located at the beautifully renovated Woolery Mill. This is an exciting time to join our team and build experience as our businesses have continued to grow and prosper throughout the global pandemic.
We are flexible! Choose your own shifts (minimum x3 per week). Full-time hours are available from March - December for qualified people who are interested. Weekend availability is required. Enjoy high-end event experiences and lots of free food!
Salary & Compensation
This is an hourly position. New team members start at $12.00/hr (training wage) and receive a raise to $13.00/hr after your first 100 hours of consistent work. Raises occur at the top of the newest pay period. Additional raises are available for staff who become Event Leads and/or Bartenders.
** Earn a $150.00 bonus for both yourself and the person who recruited you to One World Enterprises after you’ve been with us for 100 completed hours of work!
** Receive a $50 gift card to Pizza X, Lennie’s or Osteria Rago by submitting proof of COVID-19 vaccination to our HR department. Must have received both doses of Moderna or Pfizer or one J&J! You may receive an additional $50 gift card (Amazon is an included option for booster shots) by also submitting proof for receiving your booster shot to our HR department.

Job Description
Staff members are responsible for setting up and executing catered events at our venue (Woolery Mill) as well all over Bloomington and surrounding areas. Events range from 10-500 guests and include events for IU, weddings, Non-Profit Organizations, local businesses, etc.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
Can work required dates (mostly Saturdays, other dates will be updated)
Good listening skills and the ability to learn quickly on-the-job.
Thrive in a fast-paced setting and can be proactive with tasks.
Ability to work both individually and as a team member.
Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
Ability to stay on your feet for the duration of your shift.
Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
Strong communication skills.
Must have weekend availability.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation and punctuality.
